Rogue Valley Summer Day Camp
Summer Recreation for Children with Disabilities

The mission of Easter Seals day camping programs is to provide safe, fun recreational opportunities for children with disabilities or special needs. Easter Seals recognizes the gifts and potential of our clients. We create an environment that emphasizes their ability and independence, as well as the development of their leisure skills, social skills, and appreciation of the outdoors. Participants make friends, learn about and explore nature, participate in sports and crafts, gain confidence, and create memories that linger long after they go home.

Easter Seals Day Camp is open to anyone age 5 to 21 who has a diagnosed disability or special need, including developmental, physical or multiple disabilities. We serve people with a wide array of ability levels and try very hard to accommodate all campers.

Staff and Volunteers

Easter Seals Day Camp takes pride in maintaining a high ratio of staff to campers (1:3 minimum). We hire positive, enthusiastic people who are willing to work hard, have fun, and provide a great experience for our clients. All staff and volunteers go through extensive training prior to service.

Activities

All activities are adapted to serve the needs of our clients. They are designed to challenge our campers yet allow for a successful outcome. All activities are reviewed for safety and are scheduled on an age-appropriate basis. Some of our favorite activities include:

  • Swimming and Water Slide at Jackson Pool
  • Arts and Crafts
  • Sports and Games
  • Special Events and Guests

Camp Fees

The cost to attend day camp is $125 per session, with possible Fee Assistance based on funds raised prior to camp. Limited scholarships covering up to 50% of the cost of camp may be available; to request a scholarship please send a letter to the Rogue Valley Area Director. Space is limited, and registration is on a first come, first served basis.

To enroll, please download the registration form and submit it with your registration fee as soon as possible. You will also need to submit a full application and medical form before camp begins, unless we have a recent one on file. For more information, contact our Rogue Valley office at 541-842-2199 or send us an email.
